Week 14 Round Up

14 Weeks behind us. For most people, the fantasy playoffs begin this week. Unfortunately, this past week was a bloodbath of injuries that impacted nearly every fantasy football participant (myself included). Obviously, we wish for the actual player’s speedy recoveries, but our little game of counting their stats must press on.   Nevertheless, all this demonstrates yet again that no matter how much planning we do, things can go sideways in a hurry. In fact, it emphasizes this point perfectly. We must adapt and pay attention to all trends materializing in front of us. The charts below are meant to assist with this effort, focusing on which defenses give up the most fantasy points (and other key measurables) to each primary offensive position. Certainly, a tougher opponent will make a team’s defense appear potentially worse than usual. However, monitoring these metrics will help us make better fantasy football decisions as the season progresses.
